With just a few days remaining until the highly anticipated UIM F1H2O World Championship finals, the premier single-seater powerboat racing event, set to take place for the first time in the UAE's emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), and the event organizer, UIM F1H2O, are poised to unveil the exciting details of the Sharjah World Championship Week. The revelation is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023, during a press conference at the media center situated opposite the Corniche Hotel Sharjah, along Khalid Lagoon.

The thrilling climax of the 22nd edition of the championship is slated to unfold on the pristine waters of Khalid Lagoon from December 8 to 10, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.

This press conference presents a crucial opportunity for sports journalists in the UAE to acquire vital insights into the widely recognized "Grand Prix" of powerboat racing. Among the highlights, the conference will elucidate on innovative race modules and modifications making their debut in the Sharjah leg of the championship. Notably, the F1H2O World Championship will feature a sprint format, adding a new dimension to the competition. Participants will also share their strategic visions for the finals and more.
