How a boat decision turned into a house decision
We chartered out of Latchi three summers running. Small boat, nothing serious, the kind you take out for a day and bring back before the wind picks up in the afternoon.
Last August we stayed a week longer than planned and drove the coast between Paphos and Polis instead of sailing. That is when my wife said the thing she had not said in three years, that she could live here in winter.
So now we are looking at houses and not at boats. The shortlist is three, all of them off https://tranio.com/cyprus/paphos/detached/ and the one with the flat roof and the old olive tree is winning, mostly because of the tree.
The marina is twenty five minutes from all three. I checked that with a stopwatch on a Tuesday morning. My wife thinks this is a strange way to choose a house.
